Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers

The GDPR Compliant Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers (RQMF) is an independent memorial fixers register administered by The National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) according to a strict protocol.

The RQMF is currently the only independent dedicated memorial fixers register.

Inclusion on the RQMF confirms that those listed permit their details to be accessed by the relevant authorities via this online Register.

The RQMF allows Burial Authorities to confirm that those listed are appropriately qualified and have the required up-to-date insurance cover in place. All those listed on the RQMF must agree to work in compliance with the current NAMM Code of Working Practice and British Standard 8415 and provide a guarantee of conformity.

All RQMF registered fixers and Memorial Masonry Companies must sign an undertaking to abide by the decisions of an independent disciplinary committee formed to oversee any alleged breach of fixing standards made against them.

Burial Authority access to the RQMF is free via an individual login, technical support, and the monitoring of RQMF registered memorial fixers is also provided.

Burial Authorities Individual RQMF Login: To meet GDPR requirements, an individual login is required to enable Burial Authorities to view fixers’ personal details, including their qualifications, ID photograph, current email and business address, contact telephone numbers, and details of associated branches or registered businesses, their insurance company details, and expiry dates, etc. To obtain a personal login, Burial Authorities’ contact details must first be entered on the RQMF database. To do this, please use the Register/feedback form on the RQMF home page to enter your details onto the system. Ensure to enter the same email address that will later be used to access the database. Please then allow 24hrs for this to be uploaded to the system. Once contact details have been submitted and uploaded, when logging onto the RQMF for the first time, the register software will recognize your email and provide an individual login sent by return to that same email (please check spam just in case high spam settings divert it there). The individual login can then be saved as a desktop shortcut and used for fast access to the register.

The RQMF is specifically designed to support those directly responsible for burial ground safety and is fully compliant with current data protection legislation. The details of RQMF listed memorial fixers, such as insurance providers and the date of insurance expiry, personal telephone numbers, addresses, qualifications, etc., are GDPR Compliant and can only be accessed via an allocated individual login.
