Quality Assurance for the Memorial Industry
NAMM was established in 1907 to provide guidance, regulation, training, and assessment for its Members, Associates, and the Memorial Masonry Industry in general, who, in turn, provide a service to the Public.
Quality is important in our business because we value high standards of service and our Members and Public Opinion. Association members strive to provide our customers with products and services that meet and often exceed the current regulatory expectations of British Standard 8415, Occupational Standards, Health & Safety, and our own NAMM Code of Working Practice.
NAMM is committed to continuous improvement and has established a Quality Management System, which provides a framework for Continuous Personal Development and measurement of both the Associations and Members’ performance.
A Quality Assurance Management system with policies and procedures is in place to support us in our company aim of customer satisfaction founded on ethical standards and continuous improvement.
The internal procedures are reviewed annually or as required and are held in our Quality Manual, which is made available to all parties within our Association.
Although the Management and General Council have ultimate responsibility, all employees have a responsibility within their own areas of work to help ensure that Quality standards are upheld and embedded within the whole of the Association.
The policy review date is 15th September 2025.
