Technical Committee

The NAMM Technical Committee is composed of experienced Retail Memorial Masons with a collective experience of over 250 years in practical skills and trade knowledge. They represent expertise from various regions across the UK, including Scotland, Wales, the Midland region, North West region, North East region, and South West region. NAMM Technical Committee members are volunteers generously dedicating their time to provide guidance on various technical issues and subjects related to the supply and fixing of memorials. This includes reviewing the NAMM Code of Working Practice, approving NAMM Assured Training content, ground anchor accreditation, and more.

NAMM is also able to draw on the expertise of professionals such as Structural Engineers and has collaborated closely with organizations like the Cement Federation, Ministry of Justice, Scottish Government, HSE, City & Guilds, CITB, National Occupational Standards Committee, Historic England, MOD, etc. Additionally, NAMM is a member of The British Standards Institute.
